Rather than a traditional cover-up, One of my favorite looks for the beach consists of bright shorts, a boyfriend button down, and cute accessories. My good friend recently styled this look for a photoshoot perfectly with a belt from my first Spring/Summer Collection for Nona E Rose!
Every summer, my 3 best friends from college and I take a “friendaversary” trip with a rotating location. It’s one of my favorite weekends of the summer, always filled with bike rides, great seafood, fun cocktails and never-ending laughs. Past trips have included Boston, Narragansett, SF, and Block Island. This past Memorial day, we headed up to Nantucket for the Figawi boat race & weekend. Here are a few shots from the trip including our friendship bracelets from last year’s Block Island trip paired with Nona E Rose braided seersucker friendship bracelets, fun/preppy accessories, and a beautiful view from our bike ride Sconset.

Each time I look at these Nona E Rose Spring/Summer 2012 lookbook shots I get butterflys. You always go into a shoot with certain images in mind, 6+ hours and hundreds of images later; the themes and shots, etc.. can go in any direction. From the composition, to the light and clarity; it feels like these pictures were ripped right from my imagination. Not to mention, these photos bring back great memories of the great time Dear Andi and I had shooting them!
