A night at the Opera….

One of the best parts of visiting my Grandmother in Florida is scouring her spare closet for fabulous vintage finds.  This particular dress(Pictured,Left) is one of my favorites. My step Mother says she remembers her mother getting dressed up to go to a night performance at the met in this gown. The metallic glitter print on the dress has the most amazing texture as does multicolored lace on the bodice. To recreate this look today, check out Jules Reid’s McPherson Dress(Pictured,Right).    Wall Street Broker turned Interior Designer turned apparel designer Jules Reid’s new line takes modern interior-inspired fabrics and pairs them with traditional silhouettes. The result is a glamorous yet easy-going look.
